                 Surana  has been established in the year 1991 and had completed its first phase expansion cum modernization in the year 1994 and the second phase in 1998. Also  in 1998, Surana had obtained the status of Government Recognized  Export House from the Government of India. The Third phase expansion cum modernization is in progress and is expected to complete by April 2007. By completing the third phase expansion, the installed spindlege capacity of Surana  will go to 20928 spindles with most modernized machines for all process to enable to produce 3500 tonnes High Quality yarn per annum

            

             To achieve the customer’s utmost satisfaction, the self committed quality policy of Surana, a scientific, systematic and effective management system is being implemented both inside and outside the mills. The  above successful management system implementation is confirmed with ISO 9001:2000 Certification by The TUV CERT certification body of TUV Industrie Service GmbH, TUV Rheinland Group, Germany in the year 2004.

            

             Keeping in line with its tradition and with clear conviction on customer satisfaction, Surana has over the years reoriented its capabilities both quantitatively and qualitatively by furthering its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.     

            

             Today Surana manufactures a vide variety of Hosiery yarn, Warp yarn and the value added Compact yarns and the range includes superior combed and carded knitting and weaving yarns.
