Inter-University Handball Tournament

Anna University Inter-Zonal handball tournament was held at Park Engineering College on 08th Jan 2012.The Handball team of SNS College of Engineering participated in the event. Two players of SNS Engineering College got selected for the Inter-University tournament to be held at Waranagl, Andrapradesh on 13th Jan 2012. The Management, Principal, Physical Director and Faculty Members of SNS College of Engineering Congratulate the two players - D.Vanitha of II CSE and S.Kirthiga of I EEE.
Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp

A Three day Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) Sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India in association with CIMAT is being organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell of SNS College of Engineering. The camp is scheduled from 28th December 2011 to 30th December 2011.The participants are around 140 students from different disciplines of Engineering, MCA and MBA. The Camp was inaugurated by Mr.Harish.B.Vagadia, Director, M/S MM Engineers Pvt. Ltd, Coimbatore.
Eco Club Members - Trek to Palamalai, Near Kovanur

A trek to Palamalai was undertaken by the members of the Eco and Trekking Club on 03.12.2011. Around 30 staff and students participated in the trek. Palamalai is located 10 kms west of Periyanaickenpalayam. The vegetation is scrub jungle interspersed with a good number of deciduous trees. There were a good number of insectivorous birds and a wide variety of insect life. The weather was pleasant and cloudy. The trek commenced at 7.00 am and covered the road route from the foothills to the the Perumal temple on top. It also gave the students an exposure to a tribal village and the tribal school. Lunch was taken on the path to the theppakulam and the trek was completed at 5.30 am.
