SNS-TI innovation lab is an initiative by Steps Knowledge Services, Coimbatore collaborated with Texas Instruments, Bangalore .It is a Design House catering to design, development, proto/pilot production and transfer of technology for new products. Development and engineering of Special Purpose Machines (SPM), End of Line Testers, Quality Inspectors and Functional Testers for various industrial verticals are being done. For University and Colleges assistance, to support setup teaching / specialized labs, Centre of Excellence, enhancing curriculum, conducting FDP, seminars, workshops, contests are being done.

Inauguration of SNS-TI Innovation Lab on 23 March 2017 by Dr.S.N.Subbramanian,Chairman/SNS Institutions and Mr.C.Raghu,Vice President/ELGI,Coimbatore.

Texas Instruments in collaboration with Department of Science and Technology (DST) is providing India Innovation Challenge Design Contest anchored by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore every year in the month of August. The contest is open for all students pursuing B.E./B.Tech,M.E./M.Tech & Ph.D from Indian engineering colleges.

Faculty Development Programme on MSP430 by Steps Knowledge Services on 4,5 & 6 April2017

A FDP on MSP430 has been organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 4-6 April, 2017 for SNSCE and SNSCT staff members. The intent of this FDP is to create knowledge about the MSP430 Microcontroller and Code composer studio software.

The FDP session began at 10.00AM in Simulation lab of ECE by Mrs.Kavitha ,R&D Department, STEPS Knowledge Services, Coimbatore  and she explained the overview of MSP430 Microcontroller, Code composer studio software and Energia software. This was followed by a hands-on training with the MSP430 using Code composer Studio Software and Energia Software given by Mr. Dhinesh, R&D Department, STPES Knowledge Services, Coimbatore
