Department of Information Technology

The Department of Information Technology at SNSCE was established in the year 2007 and it offers B. Tech degree program. The course structure is up-to-date and includes courses on nascent topics to equip our students with the latest developments and renowned for cutting edge research and for imparting state of the art education. We attract some of the brightest students and faculty, and invite you to join us in the excitement.


The vision of the department is to disseminate the world class knowledge in Information Technology to the students, empower them to offer best services to the society in an ethical manner and to promote the department as a pioneer in the field of Information Technology, by incorporating best academic practices and productive research.


M1: To ensure the students with the subject knowledge, technical skills, ability to analyze, solve interdisciplinary problems and to inculcate research attitude.
M2: To develop confidence to excel in the field of expertise in a collegial, supportive, and diverse environment to deliver the best of their abilities.

Programme Educational Objectives

  1. To equip the students to understand the global standards of the software industries and to comply with those standards to become competent software professionals.
  2. To enhance the student exposure in the fundamental subjects like mathematics, science etc. to understand and analyze the problems of interdisciplinary fields and to offer apt solutions.

  1. Graduates are capable of applying Mathematics, Basic Science, Fundamental Computing and Engineering knowledge to Information Technology Engineering problems

Graduates will be capable in managing both technical and human resource aspects of a project and be able to work as a team to deliver successful Information Engineering Technologies.
