The Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2008 with the intake of 60 students. The Department has the state-of-the-art facilities for various laboratories, a well-equipped seminar hall, Wi-Fi enabled SMART classrooms to support e-Learning, and a departmental library.

To transform the Department of Management Studies into a World Class Business School by creating spirited Entrepreneurs and Executives with Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Mission

To create an environment for budding Managers and Entrepreneurs to learn Ethics, Values, Morale and Corporate Social Responsibility through managerial concepts.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

PEO 1: Train the students of the Management program for logical and practical approach to problem solving and function effectively as skilled managers who can respond to the needs of the changing environment nationally and internationally.

PEO 2: Groom the students to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams for effective problem solving and understand the principles of group dynamics, Team work and growth of Management profession.

PEO 3: Provide a supportive and stimulating academic environment to the students that would be congenial for them to develop their expertise and knowledge in the field of management.

PEO 4: Develop valuable life skills of students and transform them to a total personality so that they are enabled to think independently, argue critically, solve problems and communicate effectively at a level which reflects their competency.

PEO 5: Enrich the knowledge-base of management through applied and conceptual research, quality publications and industry collaborations

PSO 1: An ability to design and implement complex systems for businesses or business subdivisions, utilize qualitative and quantitative methods to explore and solve critical business problems

PSO 2: An ability to make use of acquired managerial and technical knowledge while making business decisions as entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs.
